Chassity Mays is the Simulation Project Manager at the Simulation Center in Fairbanks Hall, where she oversees daily operations and collaborates on scenario development. With a decade of experience in the operating rooms at Riley Children’s Hospital, she brings invaluable expertise to her current role. Chassity earned a BSN from Indiana University and has is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and a Certified Healthcare Simulation Healthcare Operations Specialist-Advanced (CHSOS-A), which puts her among a select group of global leaders with both certifications.
Her accolades include the 2022 SimOps Specialist of the Year award and the Paul Harris award for community service. Chassity completed the NLN Simulation Lead Program in 2022. She serves on the SimGHOSTS Board of Directors, INACSL Education Committee/Subcommittee HomeGrown Solutions, and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare’s interest group- Operations and Technology and nominations workgroup. She is dedicated to professional growth, onboarding new hires, and fostering continuous development among staff.
