Director of Nurse Educator Program

Dr. Alison H. Davis is an Associate Professor of Clinical Nursing and Director of the Nurse Educator Program program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-New Orleans School of Nursing. She received her undergraduate degree from The Medical College of Georgia, her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on nursing education from Duke University, and her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University specializing in nursing education.
Dr. Davis began teaching at LSUHSC in May 2014 and teaches in the graduate level. Dr. Davis’ research focus includes nursing education, simulation, and women's health. She is a Certified Nurse Educator and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator.
