Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing and Coordinator of Clinical and Laboratory Experiences

Jessica Seich is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing and Coordinator of Clinical Simulation and Laboratory Experiences in the Byers School of Nursing at Walsh University. In her role she manages clinical placement and lab experiences for the undergraduate nursing students. She also assists nursing faculty in creating and implementing a variety of hands on learning experiences for their courses including clinical workshops, skills sessions, in person simulations and virtual reality simulations. Jessica is dedicated to lifelong learning and holds multiple specialty certifications including a Pediatric Nursing Certification and her Certification as a Healthcare Simulation Educator.
Jessica also works at Akron Children’s Hospital as a Nursing Professional Development Specialist. In that role she is involved in simulation courses for the Nurse Residency Program, American Heart Association certification programs and many other multidisciplinary training programs there.
Jessica started her education as a diploma nurse graduate in 2004. She later received her BSN from the University of Akron in 2012 and her MSN in Nursing Education from Benedictine University in 2018.
