Dr. George Oliveira Silva holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Nursing from the Graduate Program in Nursing and Health at the Federal University of Goiás (PPGENFS/UFG), where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing. His research experience focuses on nursing education, particularly the use of clinical simulation as a pedagogical strategy and the academic trajectories of undergraduate students. He conducts studies using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches. Dr. Oliveira Silva served as a collaborator for the Regional Nursing Council of Goiás (2019–2020), contributing to the Ethical Procedures Review Committee. He later worked with the Municipal Health Department of Goiânia as Technical Coordinator of the Southwest Health District (2021–2022), and as an adjunct lecturer at the School of Nursing, UFG (2022–2023). He was a CAPES PDSE fellow (2023–2024), conducting part of his doctoral research at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada. Currently, Dr. Oliveira Silva works as a Senior Patient Flow Nurse at the Albert Einstein Israeli Charitable Society, at the Aparecida de Goiânia Municipal Hospital (HMAP). His professional and academic interests include clinical simulation, nursing education, and mixed-methods research in healthcare training.
