Melanie Willson has clinical practice experience in perinatal, public health and rural nursing. She holds a BSN from the University of British Columbia, and a MPH in social policy from the University of Victoria. She has been teaching in nursing for the paset 15 years, and is currently the Associate Director of the school of nursing at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, in Kelowna, Canada.
