Sherri Hopkins graduated from American International College in 1995, earned her MSN in Nursing Education in 2017, and is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Connecticut. She is a full-time clinical instructor for the University of Connecticut. She has been employed at the Yale New Haven Health System: St. Raphael campus since 1993, specializing in intensive care, rapid response, stroke, and cardiac arrest care teams. Sherri is interested in utilizing simulation experiences to prepare new graduate nurses to detect early clinical deterioration and teach nurses how to function effectively during a rapid response, stroke, or cardiac arrest emergency.
