Dr. Peggy P. Hill has been a registered nurse since 1996 and a nurse educator since 2013. Dr. Hill is passionate about preparing nurses to meet the challenges of nursing practice, and believes that simulation is the best modality to accomplish this goal. Dr. Hill is currently an Assistant Professor with the University of Central Florida (UCF), and her research focuses on the use of simulation-based education (SBE) to promote safe nursing practice. This includes safe interruption management, identification and overcoming the barriers caused by the social determinants of health, and implementing high-quality simulation in a variety of settings. Dr. Hill also loves working with new technologies, like hologram-patients, and implementing active learning strategies in both the online and face-to-face environments.
