Lori Prewitt Moore graduated from the University of South Alabama (USA) with her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2019. She is a registered family nurse practitioner. Dr. Moore is employed at the University of South Alabama's College of Nursing as an assistant professor. She serves as the project director on the HRSA grant project "Serving the Underserved by Collaborating with Clinical Partners to Expand Nursing Education Utilizing Simulated Scenarios (SUCCESS) project. Dr. Moore has published several peer-reviewed journals including "Use of simulated telenursing with standardized patients to enhance prelicensure nursing education" in Nurse Educator, 2023. Dr. Moore currently serves as a liaison for the USA Simulation Program to facilitate collaboration and enhance a current University of South Alabama SANE HRSA-funded sexual assault grant. Dr. Moore is interested in advancing the practice of using simulation-based scenarios to enhance nursing education to improve patient outcomes.
