Amanda Tate graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She began her career as a bedside nurse on the inpatient medical-surgical floors at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care, clinical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Amanda transitioned to the role of Simulation Coordinator in 2022, where she applies her expertise in project management and quality improvement through simulation-based clinical systems testing and simulation-based education. Amanda is dedicated to leveraging simulation as a tool for continuous improvement, equipping healthcare professionals with the skills and confidence to deliver high-quality patient care and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
