Jennifer McGough graduated from Tidewater Community College with her AAS in Respiratory Therapy in 1999, and completed her BSBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University in 2021. She has worked as a bedside therapist in the (PICU) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit since 2000, including 7 years on neonatal/pediatric intensive care transport. Jennifer started serving as a simulation resource in 2017 and joined as a simulation educator in 2019. Jennifer has been integral in standardizing airway management and intubation strategies throughout the PICU in collaboration with the National Emergency Airway Registry and simulation team. Most recently, Jennifer was instrumental in bringing the CPR coach role to the PICU resuscitation team, alongside her simulation partner. Jennifer is a passionate expert in simulation, education, and resuscitation.
