Mrs. Sandra Coleman

Sandra Coleman graduated from the University of Tampa in 1998 with a Master’s in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She also has a graduate certificate in Simulation Education from the University of Central Florida in 2019. Ms. Coleman is currently employed as a Simulation Educator/Lecturer 1 at the University of Tampa. She has many years of clinical nursing experience with the past 20 years in nursing education. Ms. Colemans areas of interest continue to be in care of medical surgical patients, community health and simulation education. She previously was a member of the Beta Sigma chapter of Sigma Theta Tau at Pennsylvania State University and has been a member of the Delta at Large since Fall of 2021. Leadership roles include previous Nursing Faculty Chair position held for 4 years, University Faculty Counselor for Sigma Theta Tau and on the Board of Directors for BEST Academy. She is a current member of the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice of Nurses and the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
