Dione Sandiford is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Simulation and Clinical Learning at Rutgers University School of Nursing. Using evidence-based simulation practices, Dione Sandiford works collaboratively with faculty to develop, facilitate, and evaluate simulation-based learning and clinical skill development for undergraduate nursing students. Her experience also includes creating simulation case studies and working with standardized patients. Dione Sandiford has experience with both high fidelity and low fidelity simulation and has demonstrated her expertise in simulation education by earning the distinction of Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) through the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Dione Sandiford is interested in advancing the science of simulation through research and artificial intelligence implementation.
