Dr. Christine Thomas is the Director of Simulation and Experiential Learning at George Washington University. She was a member of the NLN Leadership Development for Simulation Educators 2014 cohort. Dr. Thomas earned her Healthcare Simulation Educators-Advanced certification in 2020. She has used simulation teaching/learning methods for over 17 years and developed two undergraduate simulation elective courses. In her role as Director of Simulation and Experiential Learning, Dr. Thomas designs cases and leads a simulation team in implementing simulation best practices at several levels in the Undergraduate and Graduate programs. She consults, designs, and presents faculty development workshops on the topic of simulation best practices nationally. Her areas of research include the impact of simulation on student outcomes and transition to practice.
