Lee-Anne Stephen is an Associate Professor and Director, School of Health Studies at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). Since 2010, she has integrated simulation into her teaching, playing a pivotal role in the development and implementation of mannequin-based, immersive virtual reality, and screen-based simulations. Lee-Anne has also been instrumental in creating policies and guidelines for simulation activities at UFV. Lee-Anne completed the National League for Nursing (NLN) Simulation Leadership Program and contributed to the development of the NLN ACE-P and ACE+ unfolding case studies and teaching strategies. Her research focuses on psychological safety in simulation, utilizing simulation to teach interprofessional competencies, and the effectiveness of various simulation modalities in pediatric clinical education.
