Lorelei Janzen is an Associate Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley. She graduated from the University of Alberta in 1998 with her BScN and went on to specialize in Pediatric ICU. In 2017, a passion for mentoring and teaching led to her current role teaching pediatric clinical, labs and theory. As an experienced pediatric nurse, Lorelei recognizes the importance of pediatric nursing for all nurses. Since starting at UFV, she has integrated creative learning strategies including simulation into pediatric clinical and labs to engage and challenge students. Lorelei recognizes the value of simulation in many forms and seeks to advance student-centered, evidence-informed learning through research and practice.
