Megan Dohm obtained her BAN from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2003, her MA in Nursing Education from Bethel University in 2010, and a Certificate in Healthcare Simulation from Boise State in 2018. Megan earned her DNP from Winona State University in May 2024. Dr. Dohm began working in simulation education in 2010 and has attended many simulation education events. Her current role as Academic Director of the Maverick Family Nursing Simulation Center in Mankato, MN has allowed her the opportunity to create partnerships with academic and workforce organizations. Under her leadership, the Maverick Family Nursing Simulation Program received full accreditation with specialization in teaching and education from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) in 2024. Dr. Dohm has published research on interprofessional simulation and academic/practice partnerships in simulation and psychomotor skills training. She is interested in advancing the utilization of simulation in interprofessional, cross-curricular, and transition-to-practice programs for nurses and other healthcare professionals.
