Dr. Natalie Lee is a dedicated Registered Nurse and academic based in Hong Kong, currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing and Health Sciences (N&HS) at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), where her passion for nursing education began to flourish.
In 2021, Dr. Lee completed her Doctorate in Health Science (Nursing) at the HKPU, further solidifying her expertise in the field. Throughout her career with the Hospital Authority, she achieved professional certification as a Specialty Nurse in Intensive Care Nursing, showcasing her commitment to clinical excellence and patient care.
As the Simulation-Based Education Team Leader at N&HS, Dr. Lee integrates innovative teaching modalities into the nursing curriculum. Her leadership in simulation-based education enables her to explore diverse approaches that enhance learning outcomes, critical thinking, and clinical skills among nursing students. She incorporates technology and varied educational strategies to create an engaging and effective learning environment.
Dr. Lee's writing interests include the development and implementation of simulation scenarios, as well as evaluating their impact on nursing education. Her dedication to advancing nursing practice and education reflects her passion for improving healthcare delivery and outcomes.
