Kate Healy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 (BSN) and 2007 (MSN, ACNP) and from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2015 (DNP). She is employed at the University of Rhode Island College of Nursing as an Assistant Clinical Professor. In that role, she provides mannikin based simulation and virtual reality for students in their adult health clinical courses. Dr. Healy is interested in methods of increasing simulation while following best practices and standardizing student experiences.
