Darbi Crist graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2013 and earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2022. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership at The Ohio State University. Darbi has been a nurse educator since 2020 and is a faculty member teaching multiple sections while contributing to curriculum development.
With a strong background in simulation-based education, Darbi has served as a simulation coordinator and has presented on simulation at various conferences. She collaborates with the Oklahoma Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative to enhance simulation initiatives, particularly in maternal health. Her work focuses on developing innovative simulation strategies to improve nursing education and clinical preparedness.
In addition to her teaching and leadership roles, Darbi has developed faculty guides to support effective simulation-based learning. She is passionate about advancing simulation science, faculty development, and improving standardized approaches to simulation education.
Darbi is dedicated to shaping the future of nursing education by integrating evidence-based teaching strategies and fostering a supportive learning environment for students and faculty alike.
