Aimme Jo McCauley is the Director of the Nursing Skills and Technology Center (NSTC) and an Instructor of Clinical Nursing at the Louisiana State University Health New Orleans - School of Nursing. She earned a baccalaureate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2002, a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nursing Informatics, a post-graduate certificate in Nursing Education, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) specializing in Healthcare Systems Leadership in 2020 from Chamberlain University. She holds CNE and CHSE credentials. Her scholarly interests include healthcare simulation, quality improvement in nursing and education, the advancement of transcultural nursing and cultural humility, and improving workflow and well-being in nursing environments. In 2024, she was awarded the Sister Henrietta Guyot Research award for The Use of Standardized Patients to Measure Baccalaureate Nursing Student Satisfaction and Self-Confidence in the Use of Spanish Language for the Provision of Nursing Care.
