During her tenure as a NNP, she has developed multiple education lectures and programs for outreach hospitals, education programs within the NICU, and created the first NNP fellowship program in Texas. She is a multi-published author in nursing and medical journals, a reviewer for two nursing journals and on the editorial board for the Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing. She has presented at multiple conferences in addition to being an exam item writer for the NCC certification exam for NNPs and nurses.
