Malissa Sampson-Williams is a Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator passionate about preparing nursing students to be empathetic, skilled and knowledgeable professional nurses. She earned her BSN and MSN with a concentration in Nursing Education from East Carolina University. In her role as Clinical Associate Faculty in the Prelicensure Nursing Program at Duke University School of Nursing, she serves as a clinical coordinator for the senior preceptorship course and facilitates learning in the clinical, lab, simulation and didactic learning environments. She continues to work per diem as an emergency room nurse at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. Her interests include clinical and simulation learning, clinical instructor professional development and new graduate preparedness.
