Kameelah Brown graduated from Quinnipiac University with her DNP in Leadership in 2024, and is employed as a Program Manager for the Nurse Residency and Continuing Nursing Education Programs at MSK. She has been a nurse for 14 years and before becoming a Nursing Professional Development Specialist, she worked inpatient for seven years as a Neuro-Ortho and Neurosurgical Oncology nurse. Kameelah is a clinical adjunct instructor for Hunter College nursing students and an outside contractor for the ANCC. She has presented nationally at multiple conferences about nurse residency, best practices in accreditation, and using simulation to promote safe patient practice. She enjoys creating and conducting simulation activities to strengthen nurses' confidence and competence.
