Allison Leduc graduated from UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing in 2007. She obtained her BSN from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2012 & her MSN from Robert Morris University in 2017.Allison also received a Post Masters Certificate in Leadership in Simulation Instruction & Management from Robert Morris University in 2018 and completed Simulation for Clinical Excellence in Nursing Services training through the Veterans Health Administration in 2019. She is employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs, currently working in Quality & Patient Safety as a Utilization Management RN. Prior to this, Allison worked as a Patient Safety Coordinator and clnical Nurse Educator at VA Pittsburgh (PA) Healthcare System. As a Nurse Educator, she used simulation instruction to facilitate learning with med-surg RNs and unlicensed staff. Ms. Leduc is interested in facilitating innovation in clinical nursing education to facilitate positive patient outcomes and the highest level of quality of care.
