Dr. Andrew Porter is an Associate Professor of Clinical at the University of Miami’s School of Nursing and Health Studies, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in global health, human sexuality, and research methods. A biobehaviourist by training and a sexual health educator by passion, Dr. Porter co-hosts The Sex Wrap, an award-winning podcast focused on sex-positive, evidence-based education. His research spans HPV vaccine hesitancy, digital health interventions, problem-based learning, and educational equity, with many publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Porter is also a faculty mentor, simulation innovator, and frequent contributor to national discussions on teaching excellence and health policy.
