Abstract : In the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, developing robust clinical skills in nursing students is paramount. This presentation outlines a capstone simulation designed for Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) students, employing a multi-patient scenario to enhance prioritization, delegation, critical thinking, assessment, and interprofessional communication skills. Guided by the NLN multi-patient simulation template, this low-stakes simulation allows students to engage with multiple patient cases, fostering a realistic and immersive learning environment.

Students navigate complex clinical situations requiring effective medication administration, documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR), and collaboration with peers. The simulation not only emphasizes technical skills but also instills vital themes of patient safety and the importance of providing constructive peer feedback. By promoting a supportive atmosphere, students can learn from their experiences without the pressure of high-stakes evaluation.
